Binsteed Childcare Services was founded in January 2003 by Sue Jupp with the aim to provide quality childcare for children aged 0-12 years old within the local community of Binsteed Community Centre. Childcare has been established at Binsteed for over 30 years and children that have been looked after now bring their children to Binsteed for their care.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT FROM OTHER NURSERIES:

  • A highly qualified staff team that have a passion for caring and educating children of all ages and abilities.

  • Opening hours from 7 a.m until 6 p.m. Binsteed prides themselves with the fact that they always are flexible with their parents needs.

  • All aspects of childcare are catered for at Binsteed where a family can drop and pick up their siblings all in one place.

  • A large outside play area for the under 3's which is fenced off and the children can access it from the room through their french doors. The over 3's play park has a purpose built pirate ship, large sand pit and mud kitchen. This playground is completely fenced off giving you peace of mind that your children can explore and learn in a safe outside environment.

  • We are very fortunate to have the whole of Binsteed entirely for childcare with the following areas equipped with age and ability appropriate equipment.

Funded spaces for some 2 year olds who may be entitled to 15 hours free funding. Funded spaces for pre-school age children may be 15 hours for all children starting the term after their third birthday or 30 hours if they are eligible. Please pop in for a visit so we can explain how and where to apply for funding.

ONLINE LEARNING JOURNALS:

At Binsteed Childcare Services we use an online learning journey system called Tapestry.

Pictures and observations of your child's achievements are uploaded and are available for parents/carers to view. these observations are used to track your child's development using the Early Years Foundation stage. We really value input from parents/carers as you are the ones who know your child better than anyone else, which is why we encourage you to get involved with the learning journey's as Tapestry gives parents the opportunity to upload pictures and observations of what your child has been doing at home. This gives us a really valuable insight into your child's development.

As a parent/carer you will be emailed log in details enabling you to create a password which will allow you only you to access your child's learning journey, maintaining confidentiality.

If you are interested in finding out more or want your log in details for your child, send us a quick email or give us a call...
