raspberry room- under 24 months
Raspberry room prides itself on caring for young children's individual needs. The highly qualified, experienced practitioners liaise closely with parents to ensure each child's individual routine and needs are met. Young children are given the opportunity to explore within a safe and stimulating environment equipped to meet each stage of their development. Young children will have the opportunity to experience messy and sensory play as well as the chance to develop their physical skills on our low steps, tunnel and slide. Socialisation is a very important part of a young child's development and children sit together in small groups during play and meal times to develop these skills with help and support from practitioners. Outside play and fresh air are important for all children's development and children are regularly taken out side to our play park which benefits from a soft play surface and age appropriate equipment.
RAINBOW ROOM - 24 months to 3 years
Children of this age love to explore, investigate and transport items. Within our setting your child will have ample opportunity to develop all these skills. Within the room children are able to free flow between the inside and outside areas enjoying the freedom of the outside come rain or shine. Children have the opportunity to experience all sorts of messy play including paint, play dough, gloop, shaving foam and water. Children are encouraged to develop their social skills through first friendships with their peers and Independence by encouraging them to wash their hands and faces and use the toilet when they are developmentally ready as well as developing their cutlery and eating skills.
We provide a warm, friendly and caring preschool within our setting in which children will develop the skills to become caring and confident individuals. our experienced practitioners provide a fun, stimulating and safe environment both inside & out where children are free to explore and learn through play. we ensure a good balance of child led and adult led activities are provided so our children can flourish. our children can free flow throughout our indoor and outdoor area, exploring a wide variety of activities that will encourage the children to use their imagination.due to the day and age we live in today, our learning journey's are all done online so that our parents can access them on the move securely on their mobiles and computers. each parent will have their own unique login details to access only their child's learning journey (click the arrow icon below to view this website).we aim to have a close relationship with our parents to ensure our child's need are met.
PRESCHOOL - aged 3-4 years
